In the Garden

I will admit it I am lucky if on my own I had a living cactus in site.  However, I have my husbands amazing green thumb to guide the way.  In one small year our yard has grown to be my own personal farm.  Salad for lunch, not a problem I will just step out side and gather some lettuce, spinach, carrots, and tomatoes.  YUM!  Let me explain the biggest perk to gardening in my eyes, THE FOOD TASTE GOOD.  Ok yes a carrot from the local grocery store taste just fine but not like this!  I hated tomatoes until I tried one from our yard and now I can not get enough!  We our talking like a whole different food all together!  Now I know it is true when I here how bad genetically engineered food is.  The truth is in the bite, feel, and smell!  So lets start off small and see what we can accomplish!
